Autumn Staples & Accessories Wish list #1

Zara:  Coat (link) // Bag (link) // Boots (link)

Hi Lovelies, so I wanted to share with you some of the things that has been on my "To Buy” wish list.  These are just some essentials to get me and inspire you for autumn winter. I hope you enjoy this post, and I would love to know about any cool things that are on your wish lists also, so don’t be shy when dropping the comments below.

The Coat: I first fell in love with this coat on my 21st birthday trip to Paris but I was strictly forbidden from purchasing it by my best friend & personal style blogger Eunice (Fashion Enthusiast).  I actually think I wanted to go on a mad spending spree just because I could but I decided spending €165 on a coat would not be the brightest Idea so I decided to wait until the next 12am Zara.com sale (waiting for the e-mail ;)  where hopefully that beauty of a coat will be mine. I'M LEGIT STALKING IT !

The Bag: This Zara bag has been on my wish list for AGES since before I even left Ireland! But Since I knew I was moving to the Uk I knew it would be a bad idea to add to my moving load. I will be picking this bad up in the following weeks and I really can't wait. A friend of mine thinks its funny how I like to carry big bags yet I'm a small person.

The Boots:The Boots: Chelsea boots have a timeless style and come with endearing attitude. I really need a new pair. I brought my old knee high Zara pair with me to the England, although they are getting kind of old and beaten up. So a new quality pair of boots are on my to "buy list". I always buy my boots in Zara because you can get really quality stuff for a decent price.

H&M: £14.99 Hat (Link)// Scarf £7.99 (link)// Scarf (link)// Bag £29.99 (link)// Scarf (link)//Sneakers £19.99 (link)// Loafers £9.99(link

The Hat: I have a really big head *Laughs*, so I can never find hats that I am in love with that fit just right. I would love to get a nice hat that looks and feels good. I always seem to get all my hats in H&M.... Strangely enough, let's just hope a Size L fits my head and potential future weaves.

The Scarf:  This winter, scarves have become a statement accessory in their own right. As soon as New York Fashion Week got under way last season, there was a renewed focus on the scarf -scarfs were styled up as statement pieces and were made to complete signature runway looks.

The Bag: Another amazing H&M find and to me this is the epitome of a STEAL at €39.99 in Paris so I may buy the black one.  I'm super impressed with the quality and how it looks super high fashion and sophisticated without breaking the bank. They offer the options of wine (which I own) and grey as well but I opted for  black on my wish list since I have it in blue and wine so a nice black one can be very versatile in my wardrobe.

The Sneakers:  Sneakers are perfect for my super comfortable styleas they can really dress down a n overly "dressy outfit". This way you can get away with looking dressy casual even when you’re looking extra "Pimping". I want a pair of sneakers I can wear on a casual day to Uni.
The Loafers: I think Loafers speak for themselves…. They are generally comfortable easily slipped on shoes. I just love them really.

Casio - men's Rose gold £28.94 (link) // Michael Kors £275 (link) // Marc Jacobs £275 (link)

Rose gold watches are quite high on my wish list this autumn/winter. I used to be a bit iffy about Rose gold to be sincere, but I have reached a place in my life *laughs* where I think a rose gold watch would be a great addition to my wardrobe.

The Casio watch is one that I am seriously considering, honestly I didn't used to pay much mind to Casio watches but let's just say I have been educated by FORCE! About how cute they really are.

Michael Kors' latest Lexington Chronograph watch is available in a rose gold version apart from the original Standard gold version.
I'm not particularly a huge fan of Marc Jacobs watches, I feel like the frame/face of the watches they produce are far too small but I am considering a Rose Gold watch from them also.... try something new.

Nars lipstick- Heat Wave (link) £19.50 // Bobbi Brown foundation stick -Espresso £29 (link) // They're Real Gel liner  £18 (link)

Lipstick: I want to pick up a high-end lipstick and I suppose it's quite shocking that I don't own any actually. I guess I'm just a big o'l Mac girl at heart. I am getting sick of my signature Red lipstick, which is why I haven't worn it in months. I thought it's about time I found a new red lipstick to love.

Bobbi Brown: I want to get the darkest shade of this stick foundation so I can use it as a contour stick. I saw some random other YouTube do it and now I want to give it a try as I’ve always used sleek’s Contour kit, we all know that sleek product is not particularly dark enough for contouring.

They're Real Gel Liner: I recently bought the "They're real mascara" and with it I got a sample size of the gel liner version. I'm extremely excited to pick up a full sized version of this simply because its Amazeballs! “Yay to trials and testers.”

So that’s it for now Dolls,

Autumn Skincare Routine ♥︎

Soap and Glory - Facial brush - Boots Ireland

A manual facial brush is one of the best things I have incorporated into my skincare routine this year.I cant recommend it enough to be honest. There are many benefits to using a manual facial brush over the clearasonic. First and foremost you control the intensity of the scrub with your hands.A cleaner but gentler scrub on your face can be achieved. It helps get the deeper clogged in bits of left over make up off your face. The price is very very reasonable in comparison to the clearasonic. Any facial brush will do the job but the soap and glory is one i can easily recommend because it’s pretty good quality and it two sided so for those days you don't want to exfoliate you can use the rubbery side for an even gently face cleanse. Check out some of my tips for taking how to use the facial brush and take care of it.
My recommended Tips
- Use 3 times a week max
- Don’t press to harden skin and make sure brush is wet first
- Wash it often with Disinfect soap and boiling hot water once a week
- Change every few (3-4) months
- Never over exfoliate your face (can be ageing to skin)

Garnier - Micellar Cleansing Water - Penneys Ireland (€4)

This is hands down my favourite skin care product of the year, Ive been singing the praises of this product to anybody that will listen and I know at least alot of the people that watch my channel “Msdebdeb” has told me either on Facebook that they Love it too. Anybody into beauty products knows what Bioderma is and also know that it’s pretty overpriced and hard to get in Ireland and in the Uk. I picked u a small bottle in paris for blog review purposes *wink face*. Garnier's micellar cleanser is a 400 ML bottle that lasts you alot of uses. Ok ! on the bottle it says 200 but who really has time to count ?

How I use it ! (Recommended)

  1. Remove all your makeup first with makeup wipes.
  2. wash your face with you usual face wash or scrub.
  3. Grab a cotton facial pad and pour a little Micellar water on it. (Wipe Face)
  4. Voila use your daily or nightly moisturiser.
Or
If it’s one of those days where the thoughts of water on your face is revolting, you can just skip every other step and go straight to step 3. and 4.
3. Grab a cotton facial pad and pour a little Micellar water on it. (Wipe Face until cotton is clear)
4. Voila, use your daily or nightly moisturiser.

St Ives - Apricot Scrub - boots

As someone who suffered from severe dark spots previously I can say this is your best option if you need your skin to rejuvenate a a quicker pace. For oily skin types it’s oil free which means it doesn't add grease to the face instead it adds natural moisture to the face, removes surface cells and helps bring up newer skin to the surface regularly. With this facial scrub you start to see a difference after at 2 weeks and over the months more and more noticeable changes to the brightness of your face and of course any existing dark spots. I really love this scrub thats why I have re-purchased it twice already and I'm now trying the olive oil version of it too.

How I use ! (Recommended)
You don't need to use a facial brush with this as it’s already a facial scrub.
3-4 times a week is enough ! Never over-exfoliate your skin (Take Your Time).Don’t forget to work your way down the neck

WITCH - Oil control Foaming wash - Boots
(link)

This Witch face wash is my daily facial wash for when my skin is particularly oily. The Witch hazel extract helps naturally keep your natural face oils balanced. although they say on the back “suitable for all skin types” I would only recommend this product to those with dry skin as if your face is not oily it can dry it out but if it is it just balances it out. This is a product I initially picked up because it doesn't contain tea tree.I don’t like tea tree extracts and most witch hazel face wash products are mixed with tea tree extracts.
Benefits
- Doesn’t break you out!
- Helps your skin eliminate and develop oil control over time
 - Very gentle on skin

Palmers- Dark spot corrector - boots
Suitable if you have dark spots, Acne Spots, post acne scars and Sun damage like minimum hyper-pigmentation. I tried this product out for a few months putting it directly on my dark spots for about 3 months and i think it helps swell. It contains vitamin C which as you know acts as an antioxidant, a substance that prevents the cellular damage caused by free radicals. This antioxidant effect protects the skin from ultraviolet radiation and the effects of sunlight exposure, which means it helps lighten dark spots over time.

Loreal- Skin Perfection Serum - Boots
This is an anti-aging serum cream for young people aged 20-30. I once read this article in an issue of Cosmo, a beauty blogger said the one thing she regretted not doing was using SPF and anti-aging creams in her 20's. It got me thinking.
The skin perfection moisturises aim to increase the appearance of dark spots over time, hydrate your skiing and give it a more even tone. The main aim of this product is to refine the texture of your young skin.

"In your 20's and 30's your skin is still young but not always perfect. Stress, fatigue and an unbalanced lifestyle can affect skin quality causing irregularities to appear: imperfections, enlarged pores and an uneven skin texture." - Loreal Paris

How to use

Apply alone in the morning or night or before your normal daily moisturises.

A Natural Method
Lemon and Baking Soda Scrub

A natural method I use on my face is this lemon and baking soda scrub I found on Pinterest or somewhere online last year. This lemon method has really helped brighten my skin and dark spots naturally also. I do it once a week when I’m being strict with my skincare routine or every so often when I'm not too focused on my skincare routine.

What you're gonna need….
-A Lemon
-Some Baking Soda
-Honey (optional for extra moisture)

  1. Cut lemon in half and squeeze out juice  in a bowl (Lemon juice in bottle can be used too).
  2. Put a little baking soda in a separate bowl.
  3. Add lemon juice slowly to make a thick paste.
  4. Add to dark spots or areas containing hyper-pigmentation first.
  5. Then add to rest of the face lastly and gently rub in secular motion and then work your way down the neck. (I always used to forget my neck lol).

(feeling a little stinging sensation is normal so don't worry too much about that as the lemon’s citric acid and baking soda react to each other and essentially working).

___________________________________________________________

So dolls, thats my current skincare routine. There is currently one product missing from this post especially for people with dark spots. I will be doing a separate blogpost on that altogether lol. Thank you so much for reading as always I would love to know your opinions, so make sure you leave a comment below.

Transitional Outfit | Getting Ready For Autumn

Top// Zara  Skirt// Zara Boots// Primark Necklace// Forever 21

Hi Lovelies, So it’s been a while, I apologise for my inconsistencies and lack of regular posts. I could come up with a good excuse for why i haven't blogged in a while but that would just be a waste of time because I really don't have a good one, just a mixture of procrastination and lack of inspiration. But I am in the process of drawing up a regular upload schedule.Moving on to today’s outfit of the day aka OOTD…..

Today’s outfit is a transitional outfit into the new Autumn season, I’ve paired my cropped jumper with my grey Pencil skirt, They are both from Zara which is not surprising as my readers would know I’m forever obsessed with Zara. On my feet I’m wearing my Primark super high ankle boots, they are extremely heavy but so worth the hassle...After all looking good sometimes involves a bit of pain. These shoes will definitely give you a work out on a casual shopping or errand-running day.

To complete the outfit I added my Forever 21 Gold collar necklace, which stays true to my minimal style and and gives my outfit an elegant and dimple finish.

In conclusion, That’s was my Outfit of the day, just a very transitional outfit with the cropped light jumper and the skirt, pretty soon tights will be needed and scarves.
I hope this season is good to you all and I hope you all stay blessed.

Designer Spotlight | Adeola Sageo

In order to commemorate my trip to Nigeria I decided to  do an exposé on a notable Nigerian designer and visual haute-couture designer Adeola Sageo.
The best thing I believe a person could have is pride in is who they are, in their country and most importantly in their culture. A fascinating woman has achieved all of the above, which led to the inspiration for this post. Sageo is a conqueror that has used her voice through their designs to express Nigeria’s culture to the world through different unique designs using expressive colourful fabrics inspired by Africa.
So who is Adeola Sageo ?

Adeola Sageo is a highly acclaimed fashion designer from Ondo state in Nigeria. Sageo began to design in 1998 and since then has gained international fame for her lively, edgy and colourful designs. She’s a mother of three who studied at the University of Miami and University of Lagos with a Masters in Finance and Management. As one of Nigeria’s best known fashion designers Sageo has won numerous awards including the Best African Designer awards and has represented The continent of Africa at New York Fashion Week.
